I’m Amber Moser, a graphic designer, artist, and front-end developer from Pageland, South Carolina. I graduated from College of Charleston in 2020 with my B.A. in Computing in the Arts and Studio Art.

I have been attracted to the arts since I was in elementary school. I drew all the time, and from the third grade until I graduated high school, I attended my school district’s summer arts program. This is where the foundation of my passion for creating first grew.

In high school, I had the opportunity to learn some basic JavaScript, and I found that I had a knack for picking it up fairly quickly. So it seemed natural when, in college, I tried out a programming course. I ended up picking up Computing in the Arts—a Computer Science degree program that put more of a focus on graphics—as a second major.

In my programming classes, I (predictably) most enjoyed assignments in which I was asked to make something that involved some sort of visual component. I developed a keen interest in UX/UI design and, though less technical, found success with graphic design as well. Meanwhile, in my art classes, I continued to experiment and further develop my skills with a number of mediums and techniques, including charcoal, watercolor, oil paints, sculpture, and printmaking.
