Magickal
Magickal Carbonated Teas is a fictional sparkling tea brand of my own creation. The herbal quality of tea made me think of folk medicine, which has close ties to traditional ideas of magic and witchcraft. These concepts were the basis of the branding. I drew a lot of inspiration from tarot card illustrations and fairy tale imagery, especially Hansel and Gretel. I went with a really bright palette to modernize it a little bit, as well as because I think such colors really suit food and beverage packaging.
Mock-ups include cans for four flavors, boxes of eight that correspond with those flavors, and a couple of merchandise options that hardcore fans of the brand could purchase in an online store.
